Summary of the Book Called the Writer's Writer, Gary Provost has trained generations of for-publication writers and in this book, he teaches small ways with which one can improve their writing. He uses the same methods which he used in his writing courses, and teaches that good writers may be born but great writers become great through hard work. He shows methods which students, bloggers, professional writers, fiction writers, copywriters, business writers and all other types of writers can exercise to improve their writing. In a nearly poetic fashion, he shows how words work together to make a story, and how they can work for writers who know how to use them. The tips he offers are sound and have been put to the test over his writing course and have helped hundreds of writers control their gift. About Gary Provost Gary Provost was an American writer and writing instructor. He was a principal part in training several publications and their writers until his death in 1995.
