Joseph Manca received his PhD from Columbia University. He is a professor and chairman of the Art History Department at Rice University. An expert on the Italian Renaissance, he has published numerous works on this period, including a book on Andrea Mantegna. Megan McShane received her PhD from Emory University with a focus on European avant-garde art during the First and Second World Wars. Donald Wigal is a retired art history and theology professor from the University of Dayton. He specialises in modern Western art. He was an indexer of the Academic American Encyclopedia.
