Abhishek Thakore is a commerce graduate from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics in Bombay. After completing his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, in 2005, Thakore chose to turn down a lucrative career at an investment banking firm in Singapore. He pursued a rather unconventional dream and involved himself full-time at Blue Ribbon Movement, an NGO he had set up when he was 18, that presently works in the areas of promoting social leadership and women's leadership.
