The Wheel of Time has turned for three decades, and will continue to turn for decades to come. A Memory of Light is the fourteenth book, and the conclusion to the epic fantasy saga Robert Jordan began in 1984, written by best-selling writer Brandon Sanderson from notes left by Jordan after his death in 2007. Summary of the Book The Last Battle is here. Rand al’Thor, the Dragon Reborn, threatens to destroy the seals and means to carry out the threat unless the Kingdoms of the world agree to his treaty. Meanwhile, Lan, the uncrowned King of Malkier, is running headlong into a suicidal attack on the Blight with the last of the Malkieri beside him. The White Tower gathers its forces to throw against the Dark One when he rears his head once again, and the Black Tower seems to have crumbled under the machinations of its leader, Mazrim Taim. Rand and his friends don’t have time. Mat is on his way to the Empress of the Seanchan, his wife, to talk some sense into her. Perrin is doing his best to stay calm while the wolves howl of the Last Hunt. Every creature on the world knows that the end is coming, and the Pattern demands a battle. Can Rand’s plan help the world live? Or will he repeat the sins of Lews Therin Telamon, and become a Kinslayer once again? And what of the fabled Horn of Valere, can Mat get his hands on it in time before the Dark One’s allies do? The Wheel of Time turns and ages come and go, for there is no ending to the turnings of the Wheel, only an ending. This is that ending. About the Authors Robert Jordan was an American fantasy writer.
