A Midsummer Night's Dream is one of the most famous plays written by the canonized author William Shakespeare. The play is believed to be written somewhere in 1590s. In this play, the genius playwright presents a story that revolves around the marriage of the royalty. It focuses on the marriage of the Duke of Athens, Theseus, and the Queen of the Amazons, Hippolyta. The story weaves around the six amateur actors who are significant manifestations in the play. Besides, the play also portrays a few fairies who control and manipulate the group of these six actors. The entire play has been set in a forest. It is considered as one of the most famous and appreciated plays ever written by Shakespeare, which has been extensively performed throughout the world. There are three plots that are interlinked in this play. And all these plots are connected by the major event, which is the wedding of the Athens Duke and the Amazon Queen. The various themes covered in this book are love, problem with time, loss of individual identity, ambiguous sexuality, and feminism. A Midsummer Night's Dream has also been adapted to TV productions, films, and musical ballets. William Shakespeare is believed to have been baptized on April 26, 1564.
