'A Prince of Sinners'' is a novel written by E. Phillips Oppenheim that tells the story of a young man who is unable to forgive his recently found father because he abandoned both him and his mother. However, as countless life experiences instruct them both in various ways, they come to the realization that there are other more drastic goals and forces. A novel that is delightful to read and well-thought-out. The novel is plotted around timeless mystery from the early 20th century, the crimes of the father are visited twice by the son. When a stranger informs the young lawyer that his father has passed away on the other side of the world, where he was sharing the gospel as a missionary, Kingston Brooks has just made his debut on the speaker's podium at the local party headquarters. Later in the story he investigates the stranger's claims further, Brooks learns that neither his father nor his buddies can be relied upon.
