Readers will find stories of romance, tragedy, kindness, rivalry, betrayal, and friendship. About Jeffrey Archer Jeffrey Howard Archer, born in 1940, is an English author, and former politician. He holds the title of Baron Archer of Weston-super-Mare. Archer has authored The Fourth Estate, A Matter of Honour, Paths of Glory, and Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less. From 1967 to 1970, he was the Conservative councillor on the Greater London Council. In 1969, he opened up Arrow Enterprises, and the Archer Gallery. That same year, he became a Member of Parliament, till 1974. In 1985, he took the role of deputy chairman of the Conservative Party for one year. Archer’s books have sold around 250 million copies across the world. They have also been on The New York Times bestseller list.
