Summary of the Book What’s one to do when one’s house is too small? Well, one wise old man thinks that one should call all the farm animals in, turning the house into a cramped area where no one can breathe. When one pushes all the animals out, the house turns relatively large! That’s one way to do this. With fluent rhymes and vivid illustrations, this book shows kids that there are always two ways of looking at a glass of water. It’s either half empty or half full. About the Authors Julia Donaldson is a children’s writer, playwright and performer known for her popular rhyming stories for children. Axel Scheffler is an illustrator who studied at the Bath Academy of Art. Born in Germany, he is currently based in London. Together, the authors have also corresponded on The Gruffalo, Room on the Broom and Stick Man.
