On the basis of the positive response given by the students as well as the teachers, the book is being published in its eighth edition after thorough revision of the seventh edition. Two new chapters on Electronics i.e Basic Electronics and Electronics Engineering Materials (in the form of questions, True and False type questions, Fill in the blank type questions) have been added in this edition. The new chapters on Electronics are certainly going to help the students while preparing for their Exams. and interview/viva-voce tests. The author will consider his efforts amply rewarded if the revised book serves the purpose of the students for whom it is meant. The author and publishers would welcome suggestions for the improvement of the book of pointing out any misprint.
