I feel great pleasure in presenting a textbook of Organic Chemistry for the students of B.Sc First Year. It has been written in accordance with the new syllabus prescribed by Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. This book consists of nine chapters which are written in simple, precise and lucid language. A sincere attempt has been made to fulfill the needs of the students.
