This textbook has been written according to the new revised syllabus of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (Formerly West Bengal University of Technology) for the second year (third & fourth semesters) B Tech. students. It consists of fourteen chapters and one appendix (GATE Questions). This book can also be treated as a supplementary book for BE/B Tech. students of other universities/institutions. It contains various types of problems along with worked out model problems which are essential to the Engineering/Technological students. Multiple choice questions with answers have been provided in this textbook which will be helpful for GATE and other competitive examinations.
