This is the story of a young and beautiful widow, Revati. Not knowing what to do next, she runs off to commit suicide and is saved by Saint Giribaba of the Shiva temple. She begins to love him platonically, seeking him out for spiritual companionship. Her aunt, a widow, landed in a Samadhi, but Revati resolves not to allow such a thing to happen again for the sake of keeping up social conventions.
