About David Baldacci David Baldacci was born in the year 1960 in Virginia, USA. Before becoming a full time author he used to be an attorney. When he was a student, he was fond of writing short stories during his spare time. Apart from Absolute Power, David Baldacci has authored several other books; some of them are French Fries: The Adventures of Silas Finklebean, Stone Cold, Total Control, The Simple Truth, Simple Genius, Last Man Standing, Freddy and the French Fries: Fries Alive!, The Camel Club (Camel Club, #1) etc. He has also penned screenplays at the starting of his career. Baldacci has recently composed Day of Doom as his contribution to the popular series known as 39 Clues.
