I am flattered that the first edition of this book is one of the mandatory references on Advanced Computer. Architecture/Supercomputer/Parallel Algorithms/Parallel Programming. Many books on Advanced Computer architecture are available in the market but they tend to be dry and formal. They are often difficult and boring for the students. They lack freshness as they just give theories on Advanced Computer Architecture and as such no practical knowledge is given. My Approach is to make Advanced Computer Architecture more interesting and concrete by giving practical examples, MCQs. conceptual short Questions with Answers and universities questions papers. Many case studies based on Supercomputers have also been discussed. About the Author Er. Rajiv Chopra received his Bachelor's degree (BE) in Computer Science and Engineering from Karnatak University Dharwad in 1997. The author holds Master of Information Technology (MIT) degree from MAHE, Manipal University. Also, he holds Master of Technology (M. Tech.) in IT degree from University School of Information Technology (USIT), Guru Gobind Singh lndraprastha University (GGSIPU). Delhi. The author has authored three books, entitled as Software Engineering, Software Testing and Software Project Management. He has more than 10 years of teaching including 1 year in software industry. He has presented a paper on "Test Point Analysis (TPA) technique - A Black Box effort estimation technique" at a National Conference on trends in Computing (NCTC - 2007) at Swami Vivekanand Institute of Engineering and Technology (SVIET), Banur (near Patiala).
