Dav Pilkey’s The Adventures of Captain Underpants: Now in Full Colour is a lively and enchanting story for children. It is the first novel in the series, now published in full colour. Summary of the Book The Adventures of Captain Underpants is the first novel in the Captain Underpants series. All the books in the series have been a massive hit with children who love comic characters, especially when crazy and funny adventures, including hypothetical situations like time traveling, and transformation of humans into other forms are involved. George Beard and Harold Hutchins are the main characters in the book, who are in fourth grade. They have together created a superhero and are going to bring him alive. His identity is a secret to himself. This book is now published in full colour, which makes it all the more delightful for children. The Captain Underpants series has won the 2007 Disney Adventure Kids’ Choice Awards. About Dav Pilkey Dav Pilkey is an American born author of Children’s books. His wonderful illustrations of many comic characters have been amusing children all over the world. He entered his first book World War Won in a national competition for student authors, when he was in school, and did win in his age category and the book was published. He is also the creator of many series including Dragon, Dumb Bunnies, Captain Underpants Spin-off Graphic Novels, Ricky Ricotta’s Mighty Robot and Big Dog and Little Dog. His single books are Julius, Kat Kong, Dogzilla, The Paperboy and The Silly Gooses among many others.
