This book constitutes revised, selected, and invited papers from the First International Workshop on Agent Based Modelling of Urban Systems, ABMUS 2016, held in conjunction with AAMAS 2016 in Singapore in May 2016. The 11 papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 20 submissions.
