Gomphrena globosa or globe amaranth is a popular flower variety for cut flower gardens and borders. The clover-like button flowers can keep blooming late into summer when planted early in spring. A low-growing annual, the gumball gomphrena flowers make for great cut flowers and are ideal for use in potpourri when dried.
