Unlike the other "Math Made Simple"-type books including "Quick Arithmetic" and "Quick Algebra Review", this book does not attempt to teach arithmetic or algebra from scratch but instead helps the reader regain skills that have grown rusty over time. The whole purpose of this book is to re-learn mathematics for those who have had mathematics and elementary algebra at the high school or college level, and have found that they need these skills in their professional and personal life.
