“Words - Within and Around” is a collection of poems which stem from straightforward day-to-day happenings and little parcels of joys and sorrows that life has to offer which have resulted into thought provoking and instances of self-realization for the poet. While the themes vary from Self-Help, Nature and Love to Society, Feminism and Politics, these poems intricately carve a way into the reader’s trail of thoughts to make it an easy-to-follow experience - real, righteous and raw. Just like the title of the book, the poems are very unfiltered and honest and intend to kindle certain abstract thoughts and feelings to make the reader feel acknowledged, belonged and loved above all. ..Because while writing makes things more real, it is reading that gives assurance, a sense of empathy and most importantly, the feeling of “I’m not alone.”
