Keiji Kiriya has been fighting the alien Mimics time and again, being reborn each time. This time, however, there seems to be a sliver of a chance. Nick Mamatas and Lee Ferguson bring Hiroshi Sakurazaka’s action-packed novel All You Need is Kill alive in this graphic novel format. Summary of the Book The Earth is under siege by the aliens called the Mimics. A group of men and women are recruited to fight these monsters, armed with a suit of battle armour called Jackets. Keiji Kiriya is one such recruit, and like the others, he has fought the aliens and died. Death, however, is a temporary setback, for the recruits are reborn each morning and sent to fight again. Keiji has braved the battlefield 157 times, and he has died each time. On his 158th attempt, he is contacted by a strange ally: a female soldier called the Full Metal Bitch. She sends him a message that could change the outcome of this attempt. However, is she trying to help him or trying to get him killed once again? This graphic novel blends the epic story with vivid illustrations to tell it like never before. About the Authors Hiroshi Sakurazaka is a Japanese science fiction novelist. He has also written Slum Online and the Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahou series. Nick Mamatas is an American author known for his association with the Haikasoru line of translated Japanese science fiction novels for Viz Media. He has also written Northern Gothic, Move Under Ground, The Damned Highway and Cthulhu Senryu. Lee Ferguson is a comic book artist. He has worked on the G.I. Joe Movie: Snake Eyes graphic novel, Dungeons & Dragons: Forgotten Realms and The Many Adventures of Miranda Mercury: Time Runs Out. Media Note The original All You Need Is Kill novel was adapted into an action movie starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. The movie was entitled Edge of Tomorrow.
