Almost a Love Story is about Vritti, a young, practical girl from Delhi who aims for two things in her life – pursuing law and getting involved in a relationship, being enthusiastic about both and serious about none. On the first day of her typing class, she meets a young smart teacher, Arup, who happens to be of her age. This is when she decides to go for her second goal, experiencing a romantic relationship.
