This activity book has more than 60 ideas for things to do outdoors throughout the year. Each project introduces children to a new outdoor skill, activity or craft, from campfire cooking, making a weather station, or laying a trail, to studying insects and making a kite. The projects are made with everyday objects or easily found natural materials which children can collect for themselves. There are colour photographs and clear instructions, showing exactly what to do and what the finished project should look like, so that children can work with minimal supervision. Each project has been tested by both children and adults, to ensure that it really works.
