An Elementary Course in Partial Differential Equations is a comprehensive book for students of Calculus. Dr. Amarnath currently studies Fluid Mechanics, and conducts research into flows at low Reynold’s Numbers, flows through porous media, and lie group methods applied to nonlinear differential equations. For his contributions to the field of Mathematics, he was awarded the C. L. Chandana Award from the Indo Canadian Mathematics Foundation, and the Dr. Sanjeevaraya Sharma Ganitha Award.
