This book is an analytical investigation into the works of renowned novelists Ismat Chugtai, Qurratulain Hyder and Tehmina Durrani. Their works have facilitated me to keenly observe a fresh perspective on the gender issues portrayed in their works. It intends to study synchronic and diachronic debates about gender and its realities. The elucidated introduction ensures the understanding of the complex texture of gender and brings it from the closet of being a generic term. The agenda of the book is to make upcoming scholars aware of the fact that addressing only women issues renders a sexist approach to any academic work or a thought process. The objective is also to accept, communicate, empathize and grant representation to issues of men and other genders as well to make it all-inclusive.
