During the last few years, the Boards of Studies in Statistics of the various universities in India have been trying to overhaul and modernise the syllabus at the under-graduate level. There are accordingly been a distinct change in approach and content the result that a storage of texts written on these lines was being keenly felt. This book on “Analysis of Variance and Design of Experiments” has been specially written to meet the requirements of unified syllabus of B.Sc. and all other stream’s students of all universities in India. The book covers a comprehensive range of Design of Experiments for undergraduate. The chapters have been systematically arranged. All the matters have been selected carefully from various university question papers and dealt with in such a manner that even an average student. The book has excelled in presenting the designs and classifications of statistics to students in the understandable language. The proof of various designs and solutions of various examples have been given with details. Each unit of this book contains complete theory and a fairly of solved examples. The authors wish to thank all those who helped in the preparation of the text and illustrations. Since drawbacks and better methods of presentation are always there, suggestions for improvement and criticism will be gratefully received and acknowledged.
