He didn’t care for the man, he was barely present in his life and Charlie knew nothing about who he was. He thought things would get better now that his father was dead. However, he discovers that he has a brother named Spider at the funeral. He also discovers that their father was Anansi, the spider god. Spider is a god too and he wants to take over Charlie’s life. Charlie realizes that to get rid of his brother, he will need help. He reaches out to four old women, voodoo enchantresses who promise to rid him of Spider once and for all.
