Bill’s life aboard the EMS had finally settled down to a picture perfect existence. His heroic action in preventing the destruction of the EMS by a rogue terrorist group had catapulted him into a position he had never dreamed of or aspired to. Station Engineer for the massive EMS. Then reality struck.When Juanita refuses all attempts to get her to adhere to society’s laws and accepted norms, she opts to leave the EMS for the sanctity of Mars and a much more lenient society. Bill’s first reaction was to dump the entire problem into his boss’s lap. This did not turn out so well and his first and only sex partner leaves the EMS without so much as a goodbye from our boy Bill. However, after some sole searching and lonely nights, our hero decides to correct this mistake.With a new purpose in mind, he sets out on a precarious journey torejoin with Juanita and form a family unit. Not that he understoodwhat a family unit should or would consist of. To his surprise, Juanita did not respond to his efforts very well.
