"The Annual Review of Development Effectiveness" is a regular flagship product of the Independent Evaluation Group of the World Bank which synthesizes the findings of recent IEG evaluations around a common theme and draws lessons that can be used to increase the development effectiveness of World Bank assistance. "The ARDE 2006" assesses how effectively World Bank assistance has contributed to poverty reducing growth, improved service delivery to the poor, and enhanced accountability of public sector institutions in charge of delivering development results.
