Made in solid teak wood free of VOCs, our platters are treated with mineral oil further coated with Beeswax to give the perfect look, protection and strength from regular use wear and tear, while keeping them a 100% food safe. We also recommend using mineral oil/coconut oil or cooking oil on all wooden products after a few uses to rejuvenate the wood and strengthen its grains. Bon Appetit.
