Applied Physics-II is meant for the first year engineering students of the Mumbai University.||About the Author: Manasi Karkare is Doctorate in Physics and is presently Dean – First Year Engineering and Head, Department of Humanities & Applied Sciences, SIES Graduate School of Technology, Nerul, Navi Mumbai. She has more than 25 years of teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has also authored Nanotechnology: Fundamentals and Applications. Rajni Bahuguna, Ph.D. from Bhabha Atomic Research Centre DAE, is Assistant Professor, Department of Applied Physics, Thakur College of Engineering and Technology. She has over two decades of experience in teaching and research. Her areas of specialization are structural refinement by neutron diffractions, ferroelectric and conducting polymers.
