Grass, scientifically known as Pennisetum purpureum, is a tall, perennial grass species native to Africa. It is known for its rapid growth and ability to reach heights of 3 to 5 meters (10 to 16 feet). The grass has thick stems with broad, dark green leaves that grow in clusters. It is also known as Elephant grass Uganda grass, Giant king grass, Sudan grass, Merker grass, Guinea grass, Uganda Napier grass, Giant Napier grass, Cow/Buffalo/Goat eating grass.
