Summary of the Books As A Man Thinketh In this literary essay, James Allen delves into the psyche of generosity. He bases his essay loosely on the Biblical proverb, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he”. Here, he questions the motives behind a man’s generosity and asks readers to consider the same before accepting it blindly. Yet, he deviates from the original quote and also asks the reader to consider his own motives before accepting another man’s help. This book is a seminary work on the human psychology and the basic need for social empathy. How to Attract Money Here, Joseph Murphy teaches readers valuable financial skills. He instructs them in the art of finding money, and in the art of thinking from a financial perspective. Using techniques of subconscious mind control, visualization and affirmation, he teaches readers how to limit their expenditure and use their finances wisely. About the Authors James Allen was a British philosopher and writer known for his self-help books. He has also written All These Things Added, The Path of Prosperity and The Divine Companion. Joseph Murphy was an Irish-American writer and New Thought minister. He was ordained in Divine Science and Religious Science. He has also written The Miracles of Your Mind, The Cosmic Power Within You and Within You Is the Power.
