Summary of the Book The Gauls are always fighting among themselves. It doesn’t take much beyond a stray comment regarding Unhygienix “hygienic” fish to begin one. Fulliautomatix is always at hand to whomp anyone with his hammer, and if Obelix is around to try and interfere, he’s going to get his share of punches, magic potion or no magic potion. However, all the fights in the village are usually in good nature. The Gauls don’t hate each other, they just like a good fish fight from time to time. But why are they fighting more than ever. Even Asterix is in on the brawl, and he usually stays away from them! What does this have to do with the short Roman official, Tortuous Convolvulus? Could he be up to no good?
