Get ready to beat up some of those crazy Romans in this eleventh omnibus featuring everybody’s favourite Gaul, Asterix! Summary of the Books This omnibus collects: Asterix and the Actress When Asterix and Obelix’s mothers come to their village to visit them, they bring them a pair of prized weapons as birthday presents. However, they do not know that these artefacts are the personal weapons of Pompeius, Caesar's enemy, which were pawned by Tremensdelirius, a drunken legionary veteran. Pompeius will do anything to get his things back, but he will have a tough time doing so, since they’re in the hands of Asterix and Obelix. Pompeius hatches a deadly plot to entice Obelix with his only weak spot: the alluring Panacea. How is it possible that Panacea has returned to the village, alone and without her beloved Tragicomix? And why doesn’t she remember anything from the past? Find out in this fun-filled and action-packed story! Asterix and the Class Act The little Gaulish village everyone knows and loves is always full of adventures and fun. There are fishes to smell (YUCK!), mistletoe to collect (sigh), songs to listen to (NOT NOW CACOPHONIX!), boars to eat (YUM) and classes to attend (BORING!). But little Gaulish children hate their classes, because how’s algebra going to help when you’re pounding sense into a few crazy pirates? Yet, they’re forced to go, despite successfully running away from the adults. However, this time, the kids are surprised to find one of the adults in the class with him. It’s Obelix, that not too skinny adult who supposedly fell into a tub of magic potion. What does the potion taste like anyway? The Druid won’t let kids touch it, but Obelix had some so it’s not fair. So call on good old Belenos and laugh, tear up and laugh some more as Obelix returns to school in this collection of stories featuring the one part of Gaul that has yet to lay their weapons at Caesar’s feet. Asterix and the Falling Sky The little Gaulish village has nothing to fear from Romans or Pirates. The villagers don’t care for the Goths or the Visigoths either. They have even given the Vikings a run for their money. However, there is one thing the Gauls fear more than anything else. They are afraid that the sky will fall on their heads one day.
