At First Sight is a romance novel written by Nicholas Sparks. It is the sequel to the title, True Believer. Summary of the Book At First Sight picks up from the point where Jeremy had proposed Lexie. Set in the backdrop of New York City in the beginning, Jeremy and Lexie are moving Jeremy to their future home at Boone Creek. Lexie does not want Jeremy to talk about her pregnancy to his family and friends. It is only Alvin, Jeremy’s longtime best friend, and Dorris, Lexie’s granny, who know about the baby. But after moving to Boone Creek, Jeremy finds it hard to pen any new columns for his magazines. The new house, having a child on the way, and the family is adding to his stress. But Dorris tries to help him by giving him her book. Will new problems break out in Jeremy and Lexie’s lives? If so, how will they overcome them? About Nicholas Sparks Nicholas Sparks was born in Nebraska, United States. Today, he is one of the most famous American romantic novelists. He has penned eighteen novels. Several of his books like The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, The Last Song, Nights in Rodanthe and The Lucky One have been adapted into films. After trying a variety of jobs, he turned to selling pharmaceuticals in Washington D.C., where he met his literary agent who picked up The Notebook. Thus, Sparks began his writing career.
