This is how Qamar Jamali begins his story. A character of this novel says to her grandson that ther was an age when winter comes, elder of the house was busy in their work. And the children were sitting around the old person. And the pot of fire was arranged which put in the middle of children. Then start a series of storytelling by the old person. But now it has been changed and some were replaced like a pot of fire has been replaced by heater. And in this modern age her grandson hears story from her. And this is beautifully narrated by the novelist and tried to express the feel of a child. How does a child feel when he hears a story? And in what kind of thought he lost. Finally he grows up and get a job in public service commission. How his childhood story was effecting in his life.
