A mosquito net is a protective covering made of fine mesh fabric that keeps mosquitoes and other insects away while still allowing fresh air to pass through. The net itself is usually made of polyester, nylon, or cotton with very tiny holes that prevent mosquitoes from entering. Along with the net, there is often a cover, which may be a frame, canopy, or dome that gives the net its shape and helps keep it in position. This cover can be made from flexible spring wires, metal rods, or plastic, and in some designs it even includes zippers for easy entry and exit.
