Manuka Oil is obtained from the Leptospermum Scoparium which is a member of the Myrtle family. It is obtained using the steam distillation method. Usually, the color of manuka oil can be clear white to pale yellow. The calming and soothing scents of this oil are floral, citrus, pungent, woody, earthy, and balsamic.It is beneficial for: Manuka oil makes the perfect anti-aging ingredient. It's packed with natural antioxidants that help ward off damage caused by free radicals, such as the appearance of wrinkles. It has antibacterial properties, making it ideal for fighting off bacterial growth. These bacteria are often the cause of unpleasant skin conditions such as blemishes and breakouts. You can apply this directly to the skin (just a drop will do), or dilute it by adding it to carrier oil. Use 10 drops of manuka oil to every 30ml of carrier oil, and you've got a great power balm you can use on everything!
