The anthology ‘Awakener of Hidden Potentials’ is a compilation of fifty poems composed by fifty poets from around the globe, dedicated to all the teachers, on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day which falls on October 5, every year. The poets have expressed vivid emotions and gratitude toward their teachers and have threaded a garland of vivid memories which today also bloom in their life’s garden as an inspiration, motivation and new hope. Each verse signifies the role of a teacher beyond teaching. He not only shares the knowledge but also awakens their inner capabilities bringing miracles. I believe it is a must-read book that sends a message of honouring each and every teacher of the world. As an editor, this is a remarkable achievement for Dr. Sonia Gupta to present another anthology on an important theme. Her tireless efforts are highly laudable.
