Indigo is an excellent herb used as a natural dye for hair. Indigo helps promote hair growth and is a good remedy for dandruff and premature greying of hair. Apply the paste of henna powder and lemon juice over the hair and leave for one hour. Rinse thoroughly and apply the paste of indigo powder over the hair for 1-2 hours and rinse to get rich black colour.
