Alexis is worried about her sister, Kasey, who has been acting very strange lately. At first, it was just an obsession with a strange little antique doll, but this soon turned into Kasey becoming a whole new person who is dangerous and always angry. Summary of the Book When Kasey starts showing a very obsessive interest towards an antique doll, Alexis just thinks that her sister is being weird. It could be possible that Kasey is just like that because they come from a slightly dysfunctional family which could have brought about a need for attachment. However, Alexis soon realizes that this is not the case and is terrified when strange things start happening to Kasey. At first, Kasey’s blue eyes turn green sometimes and she sometimes talks in an old-fashioned language. She even forgets a lot of things that happen in her life, but has no clue of what is happening to her. Doors open and close by itself and there is water boiling without a lit stove. Things are starting to affect the family now and Alexis is the only one who can help her sister and stop whatever is happening.
