It is indicated in cases that are characterized by great debility. There are aphthous conditions of the mouth, gums and buccal cavity. In cases of gastralgia in which the pains are either violent and contractive, or of a dull, heavy, aching character with pyrosis and flatulence. Hypochlorhydria, heartburn, sour eructations, and vomiting that set the teeth on edge, with a watery diarrhoea and debility. Lichen, prurigo, and urticaria when there is a distressing itching, tingling, and formication of the skin.
