American sick headache in morning on rising with intense throbbing, nausea, vomiting, blindness and obstinate constipation. Vomiting; incessant, no relation to eating. First of undigested food, intensely acidic, then of bitter water. Constipation with ineffectual urging. Stool large, hard and great straining. Menses are delayed and suppressed, by putting hands in cold water. Feels completely exhausted, whether she does anything or not. Dropsy from organic heart disease, from chronic liver complaint.
