The urinary symptoms are the keynotes for this remedy. Sudden, irresistible desire to urinate; intense biting, itching, deep in urethra. Burning, tingling from perineum throughout whole urethra, must rub it with some rough article in urethra for amelioration, pain at root of penis or neck of bladder. Child suddenly seized with desire to urinate; if cannot be gratified at once jumps up and down with pain. Thirsty and hungry, but desire fails on beginning to eat or drink. Piles with much itching.
