Sulphur is adapted to persons of a scrofulous diathesis, subject to venous congestion. Morning diarrhoea, painless, drives out of the bed with itching and burning of anus. Frequent micturition, especially at night in scrofulous, untidy children. Difficult respiration, wants windows open with much rattling of mucus. Pulse more rapid in morning than in evening. Hot, sweaty hands. Burning in soles and hands at night. Skin is dry, scaly, unhealthy; every little injury suppurates. Itching and burning, worse scratching and washing.
