Euphorbia milii, also known as the crown of thorns, Christ plant, or Christ’s thorn, is a species of flowering plant in the spurge family Euphorbiaceae. It is native to Madagascar and is a woody succulent subshrub or shrub that can grow up to 1.8 meters tall. The plant has densely spiny stems with straight, slender spines that help it climb over other plants. Its fleshy green leaves are mainly found on new growth, and the flowers are small and come in red, pink, or white colors.
