This novel tells a story of suffering, love and struggle through the heart-rending story of one young woman. Often, when a married woman is unable to become a mother, she has to carry the crushing weight of social stigma along with her personal trauma arising from her infertility. No one is suspicious of the shortcomings of the man. The language of this novel is very simple and emotionally impactful.
