Note from Author: This textbook includes all the basic periodontal instruments, their uses and suturing techniques. This book is written in response to the needsexpressed by the dental students. The idea emerged for a book that is exclusively about periodontal instruments, that had clear distinctive pictures of the instruments and that is concisely written. This is a learning textbook for the undergraduate students, general practitioners and dental hygienists. Information is provided in a clear and concise manner. This book is a quick introduction to just about every important instrument used in periodontics. It consists of a carefully arranged and detailed catalogue of every possible hand held instrument, from diagnostic to surgical instruments. The various suturing techniques will guide the students in their clinical work.
