Bruce and Damian Wayne begin their adventures as the Dynamic Duo in Born to Kill, the first volume of the New 52 Batman and Robin series by Peter Tomasi, Patrick Gleason and Mick Gray. Summary of the Book Bruce Wayne has a problem: his son, Damian Wayne. Damian was raised by the League of Assassins, and he is a natural born killer. However, there is one rule that Batman, and Bruce Wayne, will not break: no killing. Bruce is forced to trust Damian with the Robin costume, wondering if his better judgment is at a loss. Damian is a harsh fighter, not caring if he breaks more bones than he really needs to. When a mysterious killer called Nobody murders the Batman of Moscow, Bruce realizes that his Batman Incorporated is being targeted. But before he can begin investigating, he needs to control the problems in his own family. Damian is an explosion waiting to happen and this new killer might just be the trigger. About the Authors Peter Tomasi, Patrick Gleason and Mick Gray have been working with DC Comics on their New 52 Batman and Robin series. Tomasi’s stories have been adapted in several notable Batman and Green Lantern storylines, including Blackest Night, Brightest Day and Green Lantern: Emerald Warriors. Gleason has worked for DC Comics, Marvel Comics and Image Comics. At DC, he is known for his art on Brightest Day, Robin, JSA and Green Lantern Corps: Recharge. Gray has drawn art for several other volumes in the Batman and Robin series, including Volume 2: Pearl, Volume 3: Death of the Family and Volume 4: Requiem For Damian. He has also inked Son of Superman, Seven Soldiers of Victory and Promethea.
