Join the Dark Knight as he battles the Court of Owls in New 52: Batman Volume 2: The City of Owls. Summary of the Book In this first crossover event in the New 52, Batman and his allies battle the Court of Owls. The Court of Owls has existed for centuries as a secret organization behind Gotham’s operations. Now they plan to seize total control. However, there is one problem: they have to face Batman and his family of superheroes. They unleash their assassins, the Talons, to kill various people around Gotham. The Dark Knight faces the Talons within the Bat-Cave after they infiltrate Wayne Manor to find it. Nightwing has other problems.
